Growing up a challenger brand
Structural engineering firm Shockledge are a start-up success story taking a traditional industry by storm. Pulled up by the bootstraps, their brand had served them well, but didn’t reflect the digital-first, ‘let’s get things built’ attitude that made Shockledge stand out. We helped them focus on what made them special with a brand workshop that generated brand positioning and values. With these insights, we crafted an identity that captured the energy of the start-up with a more grown-up edge. Using a modern palette and precise structural font, we created stand out on-screen and on-site, linked to the efficacy and attention to detail at the heart of the Shockledge experience. We gave the team a brand kit they could use to continue to build their brand, from digital assets to photography guides, plus a first-person tone of voice to create personal connections with their audiences.
